The CDI Premium Serial Number Tracking software module allows for easy and orderly tracking, maintenance and retrieval of serial numbers.

All CDI Premium modules are Y2K compliant supporting the year 2000 and beyond.

Overview

	If a Serial Number Tracking item is use, the Invoice/Order Entry/Receiving module will automatically request a serial number .
	Invoice/Order Entry posting details for items with a serial number are automatically reflected in the Serial Number Tracking module.
	Retrieving serial numbers is made easy by supporting full or partial matching of serial number or customer name.

Tracking

The Serial Number Tracking module tracks the following details:

Serial number

Item ID and description

Customer ID and Name

Order number

Invoice number

Invoice date

Salesperson ID

Work Order number

Employee ID if any work was performed on the item

Serial Numbers

Serial numbers may consist of up to 20 alphanumeric characters

Retrieval of Serial Numbers

Serial numbers may be retrieved by:

Serial Number

Customer Name

Invoice Number

Work Order number

Reports/Audit Trail

Several item list and audit trail reports are available in summary or detailed format.
