Pharmaceutical Distribution: Products sold by Lot

An item is defined only once and  each Lot received or sold is tracked independently. Cost, date of arrival, date sold, customer number, expiration date, etc., are kept by Lot. This allows the handling of recalls and FIFO shipments/allocations.
